You have to stay in your corner to find yourself. You have to separate yourself from the throng to connect with who you are; to unearth your identity; to truly apprehend your essence; your being.
This does not mean that you have to ostracize yourself from society. No! Even when you reach out and engage with others, when you seek support, you are doing that in an effort to strengthen your position. You are doing that to further dig into your discovery to consolidate.
A man in his corner works always from the place of strength. He finds his gift. He works at his gift. He skills his gift. He serves others with his gift. He’s never tired of working at it and serving with it. He is all about it; all in his corner.
Separation is not ostracism. You are open to collaboration. You are not averse to working with others. You are not an unrepentant recluse or hermit. You know who to play with and how to do so. You are just passionate about digging your well to reach your fountain because that is your gift to the world.
Men have to drink from your healing streams. You clean up the stream daily to make it available for people to be attracted to it and by it. That happens more in your corner than otherwise. That doesn’t happen when you are a busy-body in other men’s affairs.
The man in his corner does not wake up chasing shadows. He is not tossed to and from seeking every opportunity. He is given to specifics.
Because he has spent time discovering self, he pursues tenaciously and relentlessly the treasure within him. Becoming one with it means being rewarded for the efforts of self-discovery for self-development and value for and to others.
In your corner, self-identification happens. In your corner, magic happens. In your corner, you are rid of confusion. In your corner, you see the vision clearer because whether working alone or with others, focusing on a cause, and not distracted by many things gives you a definite picture to align with, work at and make purpose established.
A man in his corner is a man who works in his portion because that is where he will be rewarded. He will be recompensed for working in his field, not in another’s. That man is a diligently purposeful man.
